take things slow and take the time to get to know him. If he starts pressuring you for sex or tells you if you don't have sex with him he'll find someone to have sex with, then you'll know that sex is all he's interested in.

A word of warning: this was a recent incident with your friend. If he'll do it to one, chances are he will to it to another. The incident isn't far enough into the past for him to claim he's changed and isn't like that anymore.

Here's the thing, he's six years older than you, and even though that isn't a legal issue now that you're a legal adult, it poses a psychological issue. Because chances are he is much more experienced than you, not just as far as sex goes, but also as far as life experience, that puts him at an advantage over you. I would suggest waiting things out. If he really does care about you like his cousin says, he won't mind waiting untill you have more life experience before entering a dating relationship with you.

Yes, he wants sex. Refuse to give it to him, in any form, and I promise you he won't hang around for long. He will say and do anything he can to convince you otherwise, but he's lying. Don't believe him.
