If you don't think America will have any part, then why is America not mentioned in the Scriptures?

Atheists don't waste your time. I am as close-minded as you are. Thanks.

I don't think america will play any part. I think we will be taken out of the picture but not completely. We will no longer be a super power. Something has to happen in order for the anti-christ to rise to the power and influence that he does in scripture.

God established USA to be leading power for spreading the Gospel in the world during industrialization. (Revelation 5:13)
The end times record (the Heavenly Book sealed by seven seals) shows a victorious army riding to beat another kind armies.
The described first horse represents the message of the New Testament riding in the season at the end. There is neither a bit leading to the conclusion that the evil force rides like the first when Jesus is lift to a higher position. Their saying "It must be the antichrist in a white robe because uses a bow" put them among people belonging to early stage of civilization. Is Revelation a prophetic book for ancient word? Whether does not the victorious army use today weapons shaped like a bow or an arrow? The word "airplane" or "missile" did not exist in times of the apostle John and therefore used the word a bow to describe what he saw in our times.
The Bible shows that four commands are needed for the victor (The Chronology of Revelation page 51). Therefore, a teacher to be count among biblical ones must count with four commands for the advancing army in order to achieve Matthew 24:14.
The apostle John distinguishes clearly the next horse to be distinct kind (Another). The third and the fourth horse are in the same kind like the second but not like the first one. None from them (the second, the third and the fourth one) is riding to be a victor. Only the white horse should be the victor because causes spreading the white robes (no one annihilates saved men). USA was born for this task. They won over revolutionaries riding on the red horse (communism), gamblers and speculators riding on the black horse (capitalism) and fascists on pale horse causing killing over the fourth of the earth during the Second World War. These battles were on the battlefields in the world of Christianity. Then the Middle East has become the battlefield where the first enemy rode on red horse (Nasser supported by Soviet Union) the second was black (the Black War led by Qaddafi) and now the white horse according to Zechariah 6:2. Therefore just USA is the superpower in the world today.
So, you see USA is the first described for the end times.

The Christians in the U.S. are only 10% of total Christians in the world... . The body of Christ is all around the world and all Christians will be affected by end times events. I don't think that time will be a geographic or nationalistic time at all - I think we will all experience this time as the bible tells us. All the more reason to get into the mind set that Christians are not limited by borders, we are brothers and sisters in Christ from the entire world. Excessive nationalism is an evil that is against the body of Christ - from any country !

I have not done great research for myself on this topic. But I have always been taught by those who have proven their credibility that America is nothing.

It does not appear in the End Times as best they can understand.

There are some references to young lions that may be related to England and her colonies, but in the end America is not a player.

The players that are definitely involved are Gog, Magog & Israel. Do some research on those ancient names and the hair will stand up on the back of your neck!

My understanding is the representation of America is that she will prevent the hatred of a people that serve a god of hate from destroying Israel, so that Israel may then fulfill its purpose.

After that I find no mention of what I think is America in the scriptures, and I do not know what the absence means...is America gone? Irrelevant? Or just not mentioned? I believe a certain event of followers of Christ being gathered to him will result in a sudden depopulation of America, and it may no longer be a functional nation after those who follow God leave it.

But I don't know, that's just what I get from reading a story. Keep in mind the story itself describes that parts of it are sealed up. We don't have the whole story.

None. It is arrogance to think our petty nation is somehow relevant in God's plan. The end times will come when Christ returns to the Mount of Olives when He has saved His church, not before, not until.

Raptures, temples and the lot are just pablum to sell books ... want proof, Edgar Whisenant's 88 Reasons Why Jesus will return in 1988 .... get serious.

The end-times are an abiblical work of fiction promoted by John Nelson Darby. If you read the scripture without the interference of a Scofield Reference Bible, you would see this.

In Daniel, the Bible refers to the wings of an Eagle being torn away from a Lion. We all know the America's symbol is an Eagle and we were once a colony of England, whose symbol is that of a Lion

I'm sorry, the rules don't work that way. You don't get to dictate who's allowed to answer your question so that you get the kind of answer you like.

I'm an atheist and I challenge you to prove that there IS such a thing as the end-times.
