why does weight cancel out everything else good in a girl? yeah, im overweight, that's obvious, but im not morbidly obese or anything, im smart and cute and funny and quirky and yeah, im a little dorky but it's endearing, im artistic and thoughtful, and not to sound conceded (even though im sure i do) im worth it. i feel like if anyone gave me a chance they would be rewarded 10 times over, but it just hasnt happened and im sure it's because im not the perfect sized girl. i think sometimes if the only reason it's not happening for me is the weight thing, then ill just commit my life to losing as much as possible, but then my mind fights back and thinks, well why can't someone love me like i am now??? it's very frustrating. do guys ever feel like this?? i need some advice or input or something.

Your description of yourself express how well you know who you are. That is to be admired. Continue to see yourself through your own eyes rather than through the reflection of the eyes of others. I also see confidence. That also is good. In other words you are way ahead of most and have I'm sure have even more.
So now!
Continue to feel secure within yourself and fret not anymore about being accepted because of your weight. If you don't feel fat, then you are not fat. Let the boys that want to chase after the thinner girls do so. So what! Continue to be yourself and your strengths will define you throughout...loud and clear. Do not bow down to what you think others think. Confidence will not let you even care what they think.
If you wish to loose a few pounds, do so for you...only you.
Relax and enjoy your life. Your prince(s) is right around the corner...stay sharp and be ready.

I used to like chubby girls when I was in school. Now that I am old it is the sexy school girls that like me. I am confused. Men are shallow. I think you have great personality and I haven't met you. Just keep waiting until a guy with th right personality wants you all of you.

You should wait for a good person who willl like you for you. He is out there. There is a whole picture not just one thing to like in a person. Im small 5 ft and 105 lbs. and I have a lot of trouble too. I just stopped looking because its painful.

im not sure what how old you are but hopefully you are at least in high school or higher. if not i wouldnt worry about stuff like that yet. but if you are, dont worry about what other guys think. if they dont want anything to do with you because of your weight well then they were not worth it to begin with. dont stress what other people think and someone who is not shallow will find you. going about your life without worrying about that is much easier and you will run into someone when you least expect it.

Depends on your age. Many young boys 10-16 are too shallow to see the personal side of girls.

Of course guys feel like this....I'm one of those guys. Just a bit too over weight to get a girl to even look at me. I just don't think about it...and treat girls like dirt when I can.

how much do you weigh? if you let it get int he way, then thats is the problem! im not stick thin either, but i love me curves, im not fat, but i have curves. you should love them too. they make a real woman!
