Hi im 27, an IT TECH, and havent had a date in 2 years. Its hard when your a engineer or mechie, or any guy thing to get a date. im a gud lookin guy and wasting my time/life in IT. whats the best career when you're a single guy?

Go bartend in a strip club... but only if you're single. It's not a job for someone involved in a relationship.

I guarantee you that your job, unless you work 80 hours a week, has NOTHING to do with your ability to get a date. The fact that you are employed is a positive, regardless of what you do. If you are not getting dates, it is what you do with your FREE time, not your job, that is giving you a problem. Time to evaluate yourself and see if there are any changes you need to make. Do you go out? Do you talk to people? Are you neat? Confident? Active? Or do you waste your time at Yahoo! Answers all day? There are a LOT of girls out there that would be happy to date an IT guy. An IT guy is not flat broke. Time to get out there and find these people!

I understand man, I am in IT myself and it is not the best field to meet women. The field you be in is Education, healthcare or Accounting.
