Granite guys coming tomorrow to install countertop. I will have an undermount stainless steel sink. It is 1 3/4 bowl with the garbage disposal not as deep , wide and long as the main bowl. I have blanco single handle pull out faucet, soap dispenser, and air gap. Where should they drill the holes? Should it be evenly spaced?
Should i have the cut out a rectangular strip of plywood just below the holes so the items can be mounted on the granite instead of both the plywood and granite?

Also, how far from the cabinet edge should the bowl be mounted?

The sink should positioned as far forward as the under mount clips will allow. This should allow enough room in back for faucet, which should be mounted between back of sink and back splash in a position that will allow function of operating handle, considering mechanically how faucet is mounted to deck, and proximity of sink clips and back of bowl of sink. I don't know why you have ply wood in location of sink but faucet and sink need to mount directly to granite. You may just need a 3/4" spacer between top edge of base cabinet and granite to accommodate 1-1/2" front edge of granite top.

there should be a template that comes with your under mount sink. when I had my counters and sink installed the granite people took the template that was with the sink to the fabricator and they cut and drilled the holes for me. They granite people should know all the information related to mounting the sink and the holes, you shouldn't have to worry about it all. but I thik my sink is approxmately 2 inches from the cabinet edge. My granite guy mounted the sink first directly on to the plywood based and then installed the counter over it and drilled through the plywood in the pre cut holes.

They should look at what you are going to have mounted and measure accordingly. Until you install the web camera and post the link we can't tell from here.

Make sure the stuff that sitcks up - faucet, soap, air gap - is far enough away from the baseboard that you can clean behind them EASILY with a kitchen sponge.

Let the installers mount everything, just give them everything unopened preferably and let it be there baby. Play dumb if they screw it up they are responsible. If you tell them what to do then you are responsible and you clearly have no clue
