Virtually all companies have a jobs link on their corporate websites where you can email your resume. That and I had good success with monster.com. Headhunters generally specialize in specific fields so we'd have to know the area of employment you're looking at.

Look for headhunters in your area. Temporary agencies are great. You may be brought in to work for a company for a few days, and be offered a full time position with them.
