720 p looks great when it's 32 inch or smaller. THe 1080p is better if the tv is larger than 32 inch. 1080p is different then 1080i.
But more importantly is the response time of less than 8ms - 4ms for best. and a good contrast ratio of at least 3000/1 for the 720p and 10,000/1 for the 1080p . THose factors are just as important especially when you will be buying it for "gaming" ...I mean cause you want the family to enjoy great tv / movie viewing.

I would recommend a 720p television if you really do not have loads of money to spend and would like a good 20" television. However if u do have the money and u invest in a larger television, go ahead and get the 1080p as it will suite a large HDTV great

1080P is pure HD! Yes there is a Major Difference! 720P is alright! But if I was spending 600-1500 dollars I would want at least a 1080i/1080P. You can find one that cheap! I just bought a 27inch 1080P for 400.00 at Sams Club! Look hard before you buy!

This seems unusual and impossible. in line with possibility the certainty that the television assumes the pixel value is 1080p only is asserting that that's broadcasting on the utmost possible pixel count huge type for the particular television. it would be a sturdy concept to manually decrease the pixel count huge type on your PS3 however, right down to 720p. notably if not something ameliorations.
