Yes, the company is Amtrak. You would travel from Toronto, Ontario to Buffalo, New York on the "Maple Leaf", from Buffalo, New York to Chicago, Illinois on the "Lake Shore Limited", and from Chicago, Illinois to Reno, Nevada or San Francisco, California on the "California Zephyr" or to Los Angeles, California on the "Southwest Chief". There is no passenger rail service to southern (Las Vegas), Nevada. If you actually intend to make this trip you must provide your date of birth, country of citizenship, and form of government issued picture I.D. when making the reservation. For more details go to the Amtrak website at "www.Amtrak. com".
PS: It would be quicker and more cost effective to fly.

Check with a travel agent who does rail. You may have to come to the states to catch a train which goes from Chicago to California/Nevada.
