Yeah, this tornado was more like a hurricane with everybody having lots of time to prepare. Maybe the gay couple was at work -- nobody else seems to have been, except Orson at the beginning.

I read on msnbc that the next episode was filmed before the strike started, but they are not going to air it until the strike ends and the season restarts so they can have maximum suspense during the time when there are no new episodes.

They sure killed Sylvia off fast. Fine with me -- she was almost as annoying as Nora last season. And Victor was getting boring. All there was left for him to do was kill Gabby and Carlos or be killed, and Carlos and Gabby are much more interesting characters. (But we don't know if Carlos survived the storm or not.)

Another unreal plot device -- doctors coming to patients' houses to tell them health news. Susan's doctor walks into her house to tell her she's pregnant, and then Lynette's doctor comes to her house to tell her the cancer is all gone. When was the last time a real doctor did something like that?

I think the whole season has been strange. Weird things that would never happen in everyday life like Bree having a fork stuck in her pregnant belly and Gaby knocking Victor into the water with an oar....twice. I don't think it's as good this season and wish things were a little more realistic.

And for the people that die. It didn't surprise me that Victor died because he hasn't been playing much of a role anymore. And I'm sure Tom and the kids are ok. If they died, that's a lot of people that would be fired. And I think Carlos will be ok too. But what I'd like to know is why weren't the gay guys on tonight?? They would have been affected by the tornado also.

i agree it was a very odd episode and they did spend too much time getting to the point of the tornado cuz they did it in the last 10 mins of the show, but it is only a one hour show (unfortunately) and they did want to make it suspensful so we can watch it next week, im so scared too see what happened
