Recently throughout the months, I've been constantly thinking, praying about becoming a staff through Campus Crusade (para church) and doing ministry on campus. When I asked my parents about this, they said that my decision is up to me but they are not willing to support financially. I asked my church people but they said that they dont have enough money to hire someone as paid staff right now and due to the situation, everything seemed impossible. If I want to become a missionary through campus ministry, I know that i need to find supporters by faith. Do you think God is saying no to ministry right now because I dont have alot of supporters? is it better to go into ministry by faith finding more supporters in a meanwhile, although situation seems impossible? if it is not too comfortable is it better to delay? or is it better to go all the way believing that God could change impossible to possible? what do people do when they plan for ministry?

The Holy Spirit is leading you in this path, and so you really need to pray and ask Him for wisdom and guidance. He will open the door of opportunity for you, and will supply your needs to accomplish His will in your life.

Proverbs 3:5-6 - "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."

God bless you, and I will be praying for you!

Lovingly,
Virginia

Most people who are effective for the Lord don't plan for ministry without knowing that God has truly called them into a particular ministry. It is suppose to be God's decision, not yours and all that you need will be provided. If God has not ordered this don't do it, but if He has He will guide you at the right time. Be faithful where you are until then.

Well, I have several times throughout my life had questions that no one else could answer for me. Prayer, scripture reading, pondering, meditation all help. But what I really base it on is the immediacy of the question. If it's really weighing on my mind, if it feels like an actual weight, forcing me to ponder it continually, not letting me think of other alternatives, it's usually from God. Keep it in the front of your mind, continually search for an opening. Most of the time, you have to put your foot out and take the first step (or several) to get the reward for your faith. Remember, the reward only comes after you have shown faith.
Don't worry so much about people supporting you. God will do that in his own way. You don't want people to be converted to you anyway, you want them to be converted to God. Be the window to God, not the window covering they see.
Okay, God bless your path. May you continually seek His advice and guidance and protection.

Do you know that you know that you know that this is what is meant for you? Then go ahead, God will provide the money at the right time ... not before, but at the right time.

Just remember to be above board in all that you do ... in other words, don't schmooze off your parents while you are going to school, get a job and earn your way like a young person should. God will provide. Perhaps this is a test?

To reply your "normal" query-Yes! I've skilled this often. He will convey it round til we "get" it.This is how we work out we are not "getting" it.Pray and ask God to steer you via His Spirit within the challenge.I real suppose,or have come to suppose. That humans are appointed to locations of authority w/o having God's blessing.I believe we have got to be given God's calling into our hearts/existence, no longer simply our mouth on the affirmation. It is simply too effortless to allow church callings grow to be anticipated/rote conduct. Thus, humans are sick-competent for the challenge.Which is some distance worse than simply any person diligently seeking to satisfy their calling, however doing poorly.I recognize their also are humans who see callings as a function of authority. As unhappy as turns out, that is real. This is NOT of God! They haven't any priesthood authority! They have to be eliminated from their callings, I suppose.BUT, in my revel in(Non-LDS), it is going to no longer occur.Blessings!

Wow... a lot of questions. One simple answer...When God calls, He will provide. No doubt, you are feeling God's call on your heart. One avenue is to reach out to Campus Crusade themselves. They are on many a campus across the nation, and my prayers will be with you, in asking God to provide you even more insight on how He wants you to serve.

What is faith? Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. In other words believe and TRUST GOD!!!! If it was meant to be the money will come out of no where. I feel if it is in your heart then it is something that God wants you to do. He is our provider and He will meet all your needs no matter what!!! I know for me when God called me to do Missionary work in my church I was scared at first but you know what I trusted Him and he provided ALL my needs and I know He will do the same for you!!!

You need to not overthink "God's will"... it will drive you nuts trying to figure it out. Go for it if you can, if you can't then don't. Do what YOU want to do, because otherwise everyone will give their 2 cents. Trust me...there are a billion people out there who will want to say "no no this is god's plan for your life listen to me" meanwhile I dont know how anyone can know 'god's will' for anyone else let alone themselves. Not everyone will support you. If you want to do this then do it. If not then don't. You make it happen.

If you have that many questions then it is not the right time to go ahead right now. Too many cautions. See what other doors are open to you and continue to pray and wait on the Lord.

The best way is to speak to your Pastor, though if others haven't seen the ability in you, that's an indicator.
Do not judge it by finances. Finances seem like everything, but they are nothing.
If you have the ability, and the desire, it looks like it.
But, have others seen this in you?
One thing to consider, that anyone should, is this- have you done, or been doing, ANYTHING like this in the past?
It usually begins right where you are at, whatever the calling.
