Hello, My wife has a USA spouse visa. We want to travel to Canada but I do not know, if the USA spouse visa would entitle her to do so. If so, great - if not, would I need to get a visa for her so she could also travel in Canada? Thanks......

A spousal visa for the USA only allows your wife to travel to America and request admittance to this country. It gives her no rights in any other country. If she wants to go to Canada she needs to use the passport she was issued from her country of origin. If citizens of her country need a visa for Canada then so will she.

My wife is a citizen of Guatemana, and she has a green card, and the last time we went to Canada was by land during the month of December 2006. Her alien registration card was enough to cross the border into both countries.
