No it does not. You can take them for your tooth together, it is perfectly safe. Do not go over the recommended dosages.

No it doesn't, but you probably shouldn't take them together. The chemicals that go into pain relievers contain chemicals that can harm your liver. The chances for that increase when you take too much or mix them. The more serious side-effects can cause stomach bleeding.
If you have a toothache some listerine might do better than Tylenol or Ibuprofen. If you first brush your teeth with some baking soda and then use Listerine it would be even better since most tooth aches are caused by an abcess and those things will cause an abcess to shrink.
If you have a debit or credit card there is an herbal remedy that has been known to alleviate tooth pain (which is in my opinion THE worst type of pain). It is called "causticum." It's all natural and won't harm you, but it is not the most popular medicine and so it usually has to be purchased online (hence the reason I suggested it if you have a debit card).
I hope you feel better!

Ibuprofen and acetaminophen are pain killers and are two separate medicines.
You should only take either the Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen but not both.
Acetaminophen is a pain killer and helps with toothaches.
Ibuprofen is a pain killer and is a mild anti-imflammatory also.
It is also much stronger that Acetaminophen (Tylenol).
Don't take both at the same time. It can cause problems with the liver.

Ibuprofen is Motrin, Acetaminophen is Tylenol. Motrin does not contain acetaminophen. Please do not take both of these medications at the same time. You can alternate the two medications (which is usually recommended to help keep an elevated FEVER down). You can alternate between the medications every 3-4 hours. Over the counter Motrin comes in 200mg tablets, the most you will receive in a prescription is 800mg (so you can take 4 over the counter tablets to equal 800 mg not 8 as someone else mentioned). You should contact your dentist tomorrow and get in to see them ASAP. You can also try the topical jels that someone else mentioned. You can try warm salt water swishing and spitting it out and also a warm compress to the cheek of the area that is hurting. See your dentist soon though. Good Luck.

No it does not.
Ibuprofen and Acetaminophen are two completely different medications. They both are for pain but act differently.
Ibuprofen is an anti-inflammatory which causes swelling to go down; while Acetaminophen is for your nervous system. It makes you feel like it hurts less.
You really shouldn't take them together though. Too much medication can be worse than too little.

No, Ibuprofen does not contain Acetaminophen. Even so, you should not take them together. You can stagger them, but do not take them together. It can cause gastrointestinal problems, and may result in adverse reactions. A prescription of ibuprofen can be a 800 mg. So, as long as you have never had issues with ulcers, or taking ibuprofen before, you may want to try 800 mg. Make sure to drink plenty of water, and eat some crackers or something with it.

No. Ibuprofen and Acetaminophen are two completely different drugs. Acetaminophen is the active ingredient in Tylenol. Ibuprofen is the active ingredient in Advil.

No, they are two different medications, but are both good anti-inflammatory and pain relievers. Typically you take Ibuprofen every 6 hours and Tylenol every 3-4 hours. I wouldn't take them together unless prescribed by a doctor. If they are taken for long periods of time or if large doses are taken, it could cause liver or kidney damage. Usually the two medications are prescribed as alternating them every 3 hours: one Tylenol ,then 3 hours later take the ibuprofen, then 3 hours later take Tylenol, etc.
