It means that we treat the Bible as a resource for our lives. We believe that the BIble is still relevant for today. Most people who believe in the Bible, will read it on a regular basis.

I would hope that it means, That the Bible is the final authority on her belief system. If someone came along and could prove from the Bible that something she previously believed was right, was actually misinterpreted... that she would Change her understand to that of the Bible itself. (regardless of what her religion says)
