I never have a problem with games though and only some movies do this. anyways i was wondering if there is a way to clean the heads on the system without damaging it.

Cleaning CDs and Q-tips can damage the lens. The best way to clean them - purchase cleaning spray for fragile and sensitive electronics or pressurized air spray for fragile electronics. The only bad thing - you'll have to open fat model.

theres a disk you can buy at most electronic stores you can just put into the cd/dvd drive and it cleans the lens.

find one of those cleaning disks. ive had numerous cd players, playstation, dvd players start to fail over time due to it being dirty.
after using the cleaning disk..they now work great.

ours does this too, i dont know if theres anyway to clean but the reason it does it is because the dvds are too sensitive

You probably need a cd cleaner.
