Call around to different insurance companies to see where you can get your best coverage for the price.
Ask your parent's who they have insurance with as it might help.

When I was 16, I got a 2003 Mustang Mach 1 and my insurance for full coverage (State Farm) cost me 2,200 every six months. Now I pay 1,300(6 months) for my Lexus IS350. I'm not sure if State Farm is in Canada but I highly suggest paying the extra. You get the best service.

No one will be able to tell you what you are going to pay for insurance. You will have to do that research yourself because there are many factors involved in giving you a rate quote. They are:

Your age
Your driving record
The kind of car you are driving
Where you live
What the vehicle will be used for
If you are a male or female (rates for females are cheaper)
The coverage you elect to have on the car
If the vehicle is being financed ( most finance companies require full coverage until the note is paid in full)
Some insurance companies require to check your credit report

Good luck to you
