questions on any of these subjects if they don't agree with the way they were brainwashed? What is the use of living in a country where freedom of speech is allowed if you are afraid to hear any free speech?

It's not the subject that's the problem it's the way you ask it. Like this question comes across as being very rude towards Americans.

Not all Americans are brainwashed, I'm the kind who wants to hear there questions and ideas, get their point of view. As far as the living in the US part goes, thats the same idea as saying "I don't like blacks" (which is not true, just being used as an example), if you say that, some how you'll end up either dead or sued. People fear differences, and different points of views just pushes the arguement.

the perception of free speech is not absolute. A common mistake by people is what is absolute. You claim that this world is reality when actuality ur mind can only process thousands of things at once while what really happening are billions of things in front us and are mind cant cooperate to make it a reality. Being brainwashed is silly because were alrdy brainwashed from are phyiscal reality.

Why would you think this is an "American" problem rather than a "human" problem. In the 2 years or so that I have been active, I have reported only 1 question, it was suggestive of child abuse and cruelty. Even then, I told the asker that I had reported the QUESTION not the poster...........

There are many questions that I find distasteful for whatever reason.....I simply pass them by and search for others.

I would be interested in knowing what country you are from.

Yahoo! Answers isn't a street corner, it's a privately run forum with it's own rules. It doesn't have to afford you your first amendment rights. You violate the TOS, you get deleted.

I'm gonna throw my lot in with the "not me" folks. There are those who fear and hate non-political-correctness. Free speech, in my opinion, is dead.

But like hell that's gonna keep me from exercizing mine.
