the motor cranks but won't run (it is getting fuel to the motor). it has new fuel filter, battery, knock censer, crank censer and starter. it started having problems starting from time to time but got worse as it got colder. now it won't run at all but has no problem cranking over. i'm thinking coil but still have to check spark. are there any other thoughts i should check for

no depend if it extremely is easily cranking swifter than known - it sounds like it is not any longer getting any compression. verify the cam timing chain or belt to verify they havent broken or cam jumped out of time. you will could pull off head conceal or front conceal - probable - to look in. there could be some journey marks on the cam equipment so turn engine by using hand to appropriate midsection # a million cyl on the crank and notice if any marks line up. you may come across a broken or stripped belt.
