questions, how long has she been a widow?
do you think she is into you?
then if so, you might have a chance.
if she likes you then go for it, don't waste another moment , times waits for no one.
good luck

First of all you didn't say how long she has been a widow! If it has been @ least 1 year then it should be ok. Ask her out for lunch. Proceed SLOW she may be responsive she may not. It's tough to say but the only way to find out is to ask. Good Luck

Ask her out just don't be overly aggressive.
I don't know how long shes been a widow but it might help her to move on with her life. If you feel like it could be a good thing, chances are it would be.
Good luck!!

If she is a very recently widowed person you might wish to give her time to adjust and grieve. But if she is already over that, what's the problem? Ask her out.

If she is a recent widow, shes probebly not into dating right now. Just be there for her if she needs anything, and if it was meant to be it will happen.

The only time her being a widow should matter is if it is a recent event. If this is the case you should give her time to grieve.

"My friend is really attractive".....
Is that the only reason you want to ask her out?
Is she still grieving? Was the death recent? If so, then I would not ask her out. She needs time to heal.
If enough time has passed and your friend has expressed the desire to begin dating, then why don't you just invite her out to dinner one night. Or, invite her out to watch a matinee, something simple. Just take it slow and see where it goes.

It's obviously a very difficult thing for her to go through.
The answer to your question depends greatly on how long it's been, yet you don't tell us that information.
A year? Twelve years?
The longer it's been, the better your chances are.

Widow doesn't matter unless her husband died yesterday...
Same question as everyone else;
" would you like to go to___________ with me?"
