when i was drinking all of life was unmanageable in the moorings i had the shakes that is the wind i had dry heaves that is rain life was out of control that is the thunder i would pray to die at nite and think about going to the pshyoatcrtet word in the day time all of that has been lifted by geting in tuch with my higher power now life is worth living

SOme feel powerless in the grip of alcoholism, at the mercy of the storm and tossed about, unable to right the sinking ship.
