Usually, the 'public' rooms [ hallway, LR, DR, Family room or den are all the same color; but 'private' rooms [ bedrooms, study - anything with full doors really ] can all be different.
I prefer all light neutrals throughout my house, because you can redo paint a lot less expensively than floors!
Suggest golden beige or a light tan for furnishings of mostly warm [ reds, oranges, yellows, golds, browns ] tones; and light to medium gray or rosy beige for furnishings of mostly cool [ greens, blues, purples, grays ] tones.

It is ok to do rooms differently which are not adjacent.
However in an area that is open and adjacent to each other, it makes the living space appear larger and it "flows" together. If you chop up an open area with different flooring and/or wall colors, your area will appear eclectic and/or smaller.

Different colors are fine. Most people I know have hardwood in the living room, tile or wood in the kitchen, tile in the bathroom, and then different colors in the bedrooms to match/compliment curtains , walls, or bedding.

i think it will look nice with the same color, its like when u wear clothing for a team or just average u wouldnt wear brown yellow blue red pink all at the same time looking all messed up so i would say just one color. Its all about keeping it with style

I don't see anything wrong with this...it's supposed to make your house "look bigger" is what I've heard.
