Me and my current girlfriend have been together for 4 months on the 17th Dec. Looking at the situation and studying it hard. What we have is a mixture of infatuation/love.

I both show signs of real true love at times and so does she, but theres also signs of infatutation from both of us aswell, mainly her.

Simple question, what i have told you is basically what you need to know, is this our infatuation turning into true love? It's been nearly 4 months and she thinks shes in love but i can tell shes not because of signs of infatuation aswell. Is this turning into true love? We seem to be showing more signs as each day goes by. But we still show some signs of infatuation..

What do you think?

Do you still enjoy each other's company? Yes
Do you still have lots to talk about? Yes
Can you enjoy a moment of silence in each other's company? Yes
Do you have a problem with looking after each other when one of you is feeling ill? Not at all
Do you deal with arguments properly, by examining the source of the conflict and dealing with that? We try, but sometimes she is just to stubborn and sticks to her side.
Do you accept her other friends (including guys) and family, even though you might not like them very much? I love her family there really cool, i hate the guys she speaks to and it really bugs me, her girl friends are funny and cool, yes
Have you become fond of each other's faults, to the point that you find them endearing? for me, yes
Are you friends with each other? Of course, we were friends for a month or so before we started. And yes i would, but i dont care if it looks horrible i still love her!

How old are you? And what do you mean by 'true love'? And what do you mean by 'infatuation'?

Here's what you should be asking yourself:
Do you still enjoy each other's company?
Do you still have lots to talk about?
Can you enjoy a moment of silence in each other's company?
Do you have a problem with looking after each other when one of you is feeling ill?
Do you deal with arguments properly, by examining the source of the conflict and dealing with that?
Do you accept her other friends (including guys) and family, even though you might not like them very much?
Have you become fond of each other's faults, to the point that you find them endearing?
Are you friends with each other? Do you tell each other the truth, or if not, are the little lies you tell each other kind and loving lies (such as 'darling, you DO look nice in that, and your bottom doesn't look big, it looks LOVELY')?

If you can answer yes to 3 or more of these, then it's some sort of love and friendship, I don't know about true love because I don't know what you mean by that.

Best of luck with it in any case!
