Bigslick:
Well do you mind when people stand over you and watch you at the tables? What about the people who comment on how you are playing?

I'll extend this and then put it to vote. This question doesn't really contain a right or wrong answer.

Yes, its a little annoying. There are about 10,000 slot machines in the casino, go find a different one to hover around.

Yes it bothers me in all situations.
I like to count spins while I play slots and it distracts me. At the table I'm concentrating on what the cards are doing. I don't like the silent hoverers any better. I don't care for chatty dealers either.

I have to admit I find it quite irritating especially if you are going through a little losing streak you start to imagine it's their fault for being there and putting you off your concentration.

I had a geezer once that used to watch me play and he would go as far as reaching out to press the buttons because he didn't agree with the way I was playing it. He seriously nearly lost his hands I had to tell him to bugger off in the end I think it was the only thing he understood ( I gave up being nice).

Doesn't bother me in the least unless they are blowing cig. smoke right in my face or simply getting a bit TOO close..Also, I don't mind talking unless I'm playing video poker which requires much more concentration...One caution, however, be careful about your purse and money buckets-there are a number of scammers who will distract you while their buddy grabs your coins and/or chips and runs off with them.

I want them to stay far away from me.

I am not playing slots to be entertainment for them.

I don't care if they watch. If they want to talk I talk, no big deal. Playing slots does not take much concentration.

I like black-jack every once in a while. Having a fan club boosts my spirits. Just don't tell me to split 10's. It's my money and my decision.

No I consider it unacceptable. If they get too close, I will ask them to leave me alone. If that doesn't work, I'll call security.
