A good rule of thumb, is that if you wouldn't do it with your boyfriend there, then it is inappropriate.
There are many kinds of hugging, some are appropriate for friends, some aren't.
In general, holding hands with another guy is probably cheating. I'm not talking about at the dinner table praying or anything like that, but when you're doing it just to be close to that person it is.

Hmm hugging another guy isn't considered cheating, holding hands - well it depends how good friends you are with him.
I agree with the person who said a good rule of thumb is that if you wouldn't do it with your boyfriend there then its probably inappropriate.
Basically kissing someone else, having sex with someone else or going down on someone else whilst in a relationship = cheating.
There is also emotional cheating too but we'll save that for another day :)

i would consider kissing another guy cheating. hugging not so much and it all depends on the hand holding, are good friend with this other guy?

Hugging is okay because friends hug. Holding hands...that is pushing it because I have never held hands with a friend. Kissing is totally out of the question or any other form of sexual contact for that matter.

I think kissing could be safely considered as cheating. Holding hands is fairly innocent, was it a scary film?
No more kissing until you've decided which one is going to be your boyfriend!

all of the above could constitute cheating. but you are 14, still so very young. it really depends on what you and your b/f's relationship is. if its supposed to be just the two of you only seeing each other, then yes, you cheated. if you are casually seeing each other, then maybe you didnt. and it also depends on the other guy. are you into him as a friend or really wanting more with him? theres lots of different things here. just go with what you feel, as long as you stay "good" best of luck with your question and God bless.

it depends on that person what cheating means to them.for example like me, if i saw my boyfriend hugging another girl, holding hands with another girl, im going to consider that cheating. for some people, cheating is kissing. its different for diffierent people...
yea, thats cheating. your other boyfriend would consider that cheating

hugging another guy doesn't mean it's cheating, unless u r hugging a guy and he hugs u becuz u r interested in each other as in dating...
cheating means, in short,(at ur age) getting to know another guy as if u were dating when u r dating someone else that u are dating exclusively...understand???
