To be honest there's not much you can do right now. See if he can take a plea that avoids jail time, prepare character witnesses, etc
Contrary to popular belief not very many people go to jail for any real time for minor amounts of marijuana. If he's been honest with you about his criminal history, I don't think he has too much to worry about.
Is his lack of bond a result of the judge, or because of the charge? Is it possible that him being caught with the marijuana has violated probation/parole etc?
As for your comment that "its only weed"...marijuana isn't one of my priorities as a police officer. I think that if someone is a "responsible" user in their own home, then I'll never have any reason to cite or arrest them. However, I am continually surprised at how many people knowing that marijuana is illegal (whether they agree with it or not), still manage to act in such stupid ways and get caught with it.
Good luck.

How can this guy NOT be a loser if he had weed on him? It's only weed??? I don't know what constitutes a loser in your neck of the woods, but most of the people in my world would consider someone with weed on them a loser.
Now do yourself a favor. Use the time he spends in jail to find someone who doesn't carry weed around with him, especially if he has a felony on him, no matter how old, as it is.

It's up to the courts now, not much you can really do.....Be more careful with your weed....I don't know if that equals a misdemeanor or felony or the prior arrest being a misdemeanor or felony, but realize...even with weed related drug arrests the "3 strikes and your out" law does apply...Good luck

well since he was caught with it(for the second time) theres a good chance he will spend some time in jail. I would say the most he would serve is a year, but it just depends on where you live and if you have a stern judge or not.

Why not consider the fact that your "man" may actually in fact, be just a loser. Are you with him to avoid having to have a relationship with a "normal" guy?
a prior felony
now weed
next what?
obviously there appears to be a pattern. I smoke weed too but I don't drive around worth it. because I am not going to put my "woman" in the desperate situation that would make her write degrading questions on the internet.
respect yourself. do not try to rescue him. supportive sure but let him deal with his own consequences. as for yourself, maybe consider finding someone who is either more law abiding or is a whole lot smarter about the way they conduct themselves.

From the other answer, it is probably best to leave him, for your emotional stability, but legally, there's not much you can do. He will have to serve his time (which hopefully won't be too long) If he pleads no contest the court may give him a break.

First, he's not "your man;" he is his own person, and does not belong to you. You would be furious if someone referred to you as "my woman."
Given his criminal record, I suggest leaving him. He'll be in and out of jail for his entire life.
