This isn't a great answer but some are slow growing and some aren't. Some are deep and other just the surface. Others seed and , you guessed it, others don't. You're going to a specialist who will be able to give you better answers after removing it and the pathology report comes back. Best thoughts with you

There is no direct answer for that because it can vary greatly. Anyone who gives you a time frame is guessing. Just get it removed ASAP if it is malignant. Skin cancer is the number one cause of Cancer-related deaths...please take it seriously.

it can happen in weeks and be terminal in months (yes i am trying to be scary) -- if you have one and it is changing see your doctor TODAY ---- im serious --- i live in Australia and you must be so careful with skin cancers --- they are aggressive and very difficult to cure ---- if you leave it it may be too late --- so go now please --- best wishes
