Really like this girl. Should we go to dinner, or would that be too awkward and cliche!?! How about just ice cream, or is that too boring/not enough?!? Girls, what do you like better?!? It's a nice little town by the water so i would take her to the ocean after wherever we go. Does this sound like a nice "hang out/first date"?!? Any suggestions.

a nice dinner would be ok . if you want to just talk, ice cream and a walk by the water sounds great too.

Can I make a suggestion....most girls are very self conscious about eating in from of someone. Although ice cream is short, unlike a meal. I think she would feel more at ease if you went to dinner later on. Good luck.

why don't u try pizza for a first date, but maybe later in the evening try the ice cream. i would go by the ocean too. Or maybe u could both try something different for a change.
