Billy your question is like poetry...
Maybe God is trying to get our attention - maybe He's longing for His children to ask Him questions.
How *AWESOME* is the planner.
Everything in the universe is so delicately balanced - there must have been careful planning.
We admire with great appreciation - other than that i don't really know....

I agree with you, will you take a couple of minutes to travel the universe with me, it might be vast beyond words but a picture paints a thousand words
Btw, I've asked this very same question
Enjoy the words of the great Eric Idle and take a trip into the universe

Jesus (Christ.). 'he's a twin of the Unseen God and the Firstborn over all creation. by using Him became each and every little thing created no depend if in heaven or in earth; each and every little thing that seen and is unseen, no depend if Thrones or Rulers or Principalities or Dominions, each and every little thing has been created by using Him, and for Him. And he's the guy who's until now all and all issues exist by using Him. he's the top of the physique, that's the Church, for he's the top, and the Firstborn from between the ineffective, that He could be pre-eminent in each and every little thing. For in Him, each and all the fullness of God is thrilled to stay...and to reconcile all issues to Himself. and by using Him peace became made by using His Blood shed on the go, interior the process the Crucifixion.'

This is something I wonder too, I mean what else is out there beyond what our telescopes can see.
I mean space is supposed to be forever right? No ending, so who and what is out there if anything.....
The possibilities are mind boggling.
And indeed what is the point of just the planets that are in OUR solar system, only one planet habitable.... unless technology can catch up with our imaginations.

The prophecies say the heavens will roll back like a scroll. What makes you think it's really all that deep in distance? Because scientists say so?
For all we know it could be very thin. A hologram, even.
I know it sounds like I'm a nut, or smoking something, but the prophecy DOES say that the heavens will rolls back like a scroll.
No prophecy from God has ever been wrong, not can be.
I do know the stars were made for signs and seasons.

According to the Bible to demonstrate to humans Gods great power. As an eternal God He created an eternal universe. (not eternal in time, but in space)
Psalms 19:1 <> The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
