Yes. There have been a couple that try to not only down people but make sure they kick you and stomp on you when they know you are down. I try to still go by my 'ole motto-Don't Sweat The Small Stuff! If they really feel the need to put someone down, I have pity on them cause they feel so bad about themselves that they need to get on someone else to make themselves feel better. Not Good, Not Good At All.
Don't Let I Get To You! (if it was you that got hurt). Just get some positive feedback from someone else. I am sure there are a lot out there that will give you the honesty you want without any ridicule or bashing, fair enough?

I've been told things that were meant to help that didn't at all. They didn't really hurt though......
I've been told many times that I'm in a cult, that I can't think for myself, and they just pray for me to find the "true Jesus". People think they're helping when they say things like that, but no one will listen to that kind of judgment from another human being. But it doesn't hurt more than I can imagine. LOL. I'm fairly thick skinned though I do have certain sore spots.

If they were truly trying to help, why would it hurt me. And the ones who do try, their opinion doesn't really matter to me. My faith keeps me stronger then that. So no one can hurt me more then I could ever imagine.
Why? Has some one ever hurt you like that? I hope not. Because if they were truly trying to help, maybe they did not realize that they had hurt you.

No, can't say that has happened..........very few people have the power to hurt me deeply.
People on Y/A are voices in the sea of humanity. Some I do get to know on some level, most I do not. Some have tried to help only to show themselves to be a fake, incompetent, or just silly..........(.uhm, wonder what they say about me!) Most, it seems, are sincere in their efforts and experiences and from these I have learned.

No. There are a VERY small handful of people that know me personally off this site and three of the five knew be BEFORE this site (I got them hooked). There fore the rest of them have nothing to hurt me with....

They weren't meaning to help...They were meaning to be hurtful..and it worked..I was hurt..angry and frustrated. I took a deep breath and got over it.
