A swift knee to the happy sacs will usually make a bully think twice about bothering you again. Going to an adult unfortunately only worsens the situation most of the time, as most bullies don't have parents who will do anything to stop their obnoxious behavior. Stand your ground, take your lumps if you must, but make sure he knows he's in for a struggle if he messes with you. Bullies prefer easy targets, since at their core most of them are cowards.

First of all Fighting back is not good unless it is as a last resort. Second I hate to disagree with your instructor but the truth is once a bully knows that you know Martial arts or how to fight they will test you to make you fight at all cost. If you do as a last resort have to fight you must make it count then maybe just maybe they will start to show some respect. As for how bullies judge people they look for the smaller individuals to victimize and push around. many bullies do so because they need to feel power and control over others and this shows by their demeanor( or havent you noticed that many of them are surrounded by a bunch of lackies to do their bidding. Bottom line if you have to run then run dont get into something you dont know if you can or can't finish because if you cant you might regret it.

Only fight as the last option. This does not mean you have to run away though. You can back out slowly and if they still come at you then defend yourself. If at school or other public place talk loud to draw attention from and adult. Say things like "back off" or "don't bother me".

Once you have a fight with a bully win or lose they will most likely not bother you any more.

good luck.

I'm younger than you so no advice of mine may be wise. I do Muay Thai I'm sure can take some bigger than me. In a street fighter i may you self-defense techiqiues instead groin shots instead. I would only fight if i had to fight.

I do believe showing no fear may help. 2 years ago when I wasn't a MAist someone b igger and more musclar appoarched me(I believe another also) while i was walking. Saying, "somebody told me you wanted to fight me." I kept walking so did he my replys was just no calmly. I made no eye contact ethier. i was pretty skinny to as others saw.(I'm taking a girl asked me if I eat enough ,when I ate 5 or 6 meals a day)(so I wasn't indemindateing either) But I showed no fear He left me alone. The next day someone in my class passing by asked me why didn't i run. So courage and self-confidnce may help.

P.S. I wasn't really scared i felt I could take him. But who knows.

Listen. I will impart wisdom to you. Bullies have been around many moons. Will be here many more moons. They get off on fear of others, take away the fear and you take away satisfaction. Show no fear, ever. When they attempt to infringe on your most basic rights of an enjoyable day you must destroy their previous reasons for annoying like a mosquito. You must be swift and strike for the eye with an iron palm and then put your balance low and pass all your chi into an elbow to the solar plexus of a bully and they will no no fear from you but you must attack for the bullies and not for yourself. To learn their lesson now is better than to learn this lesson later. Strike with resolve. Show mercy even if you are shown none and may your blows of liberation flow true.

If you feel threatened, you need to defend yourself...if these fools don't know that, they'll continue to bully you until they get what they want. If you're willing to fight them, I strongly recommend hitting them in their throats, either with a closed fist or a knife hand. It works, and when they're gasping for air, you can come in and roundhouse kick them in their heads....

Go to your parents. Go to your school counselor and have them handle it properly.

No one on this forum should be giving this kid any advice.

We have had too many kids learning things on the internet that have lead to tragedies.

Most school tragedies have been aided by these bullied kids getting info on the internet that have led to death of innocent kids and adults.

Young man, go to the police with your parents and handle it correctly.

talk to your parents. if you fight these people it very may turn out badly. you or he may get hurt. you ill get suspended or expelled from school. if you have to defend yourself, so be it. but dont let words bring you down to their level. your instructor told you that if someone bothers you to hit them? get a new instructor, he doesnt understand the philosophy of the art
