help! my moms gone crazy!?

Question

ok.
all today shes been yelling at for everything!!!
but just right now she told me she was going to put me in a hospital!!!! only because she read a copple of things ive writen like 2-3 weeks ago. and already in going to counceling weekly...but now...she wants me to go away to live there! :/ and she doesnt understand everything ive done was then i haven't anything now. and ive told her that im ok...and that everything was then and not now.
so idk what to do i need help before tomorrow morrning. or eles im out of here. :'[[

and...my dad isnt in the picture. and im 14. :[

She really doesn't want you in the hospital. She wants you home. She is stressed out. Can you try to help her out around the house and take the burden off of her? She yells because it is hard raising kids, especially if no one is helping her. If she sees you trying and changing your attitude she will see that the counseling is working and may not put you in the hospital.
Remember that she loves you, but is overwhelmed.

i have been through something similar when i was younger. maybe you should explain to your mom that the counseling is working and you don't have those feelings anymore because your counselor is helping work through all these problems and invite her to speak to your counselor. maybe she can tell your mom to lay off! you could also try the approach that if she sends you away when you don't really need to be sent away she could be doing more damage than good and since she is not a doctor she cannot determine what is wrong with you and what treatment you need, that is why she needs to talk to a professional.
and in response to heartsarebad i think this is a very good idea, in general, but it wont really help with the problem at hand but you should ALWAYS try to help your mother as much as possible, she is a single hardworking parent and if she feels like she is doing EVERYTHING alone she is bound to get angry and take it out on you. in the future you may want to consider doing housework on your own, without being asked she will appreciate it and it will bring you guys closer because she will see that you understand what she needs.
then again she may be like my father (single parent) and no matter what or how much you do it is never enough and they will always find something to complain about! good luck sweeetie, you can email me if you have any other questions or just need to talk!

I doubt that she has gone crazy. I would almost bet that she is just scared. The best thing you can do is go and talk to her. I threatened to send my daughter off too. Once we sat down and could talk without yelling we managed to get to know each other a little better. I don't know what kind of relationship you guys have, but i do know that being a single mom is the hardest job in the world! Sometimes we don't give our kids enough credit. Go talk to her now. I know it won't be easy, just be open and honest. good luck to you sweetie!

Honey she is upset and worried about you.Try to see things from HER point of view.She is trying to HELP you not HURT you.Just let her vent for a while and wait until she calms down before talking to her again.It'll be ok.
