Depends on how you organize the wedding/marriage.

The christian marriage is ironic from the beginning. it's a menage-a-trois, with God always being invited to the marriage. seems odd that Christians are the ones who use that wording. Not that the threesome thing can't be fun, but it seems out of place in that kind of marriage.
Yes, I'm poking fun. Blame it on the gin.

The marriage itself is the same.

I think a Christian marriage includes God.....and of course an Atheist marriage doesn't.

I'm an Atheist....married to a Believer....for 32 years & our marriage is fine.

My marriage seems pretty typical...except we are really happy and in love.

Plus, we lived together for three years before we got married so nothing really was a shock with the whole "official" thing.

I think atheist marriages have been shown to have much lower divorce rates as well...

Just some thoughts.

Christian marriages end in divorce more frequently than do Atheists marriages.

Atheists also have lower rates of teen pregnancy and STDs than Christians.

Statistics say that the atheist marriage will be more likely to last than the christian one, everything else aside.

I would say that your religion has nothing to do with they way your marriage turns out, and everything to do with how committed each person is to it.

The only difference would be that your best friend and her husband will probably attend church and you and your husband won't.

Well, the Christian marriage is supposed to have God in it.

Kinky.

the marriage...no

with your marriage, you'll just leave God out of it. That's the difference.
