who would win? Gene Lebell in his prime or Royce Gracie in his prime fighting under UFC rules

Are you kidding me? My money's on Judo Gene Lebell. He's an old school wrestler, boxer and Judoka. You can't get any better MMA pedigree than that. The man's a living legend and ranks right up there with Bruce Lee and Muhammad Ali in my book.

Royce Lebell is a submission artist, however Gene Gracie is a wrestler..!!

I believe that both are excellent fighters... However Gene wrestled a bear... He is the king of submissions and also trained extensively with the machado so he knew all about this "new" BJJ...

That would be a great fight. I'm not sure who would win, I think maybe Gene but not by much.
