Sure, if someone wishes me a Merry Christmas I'll wish it back to them. If I initiate the greeting I say Happy Holidays, since I do not presume to know what everyone celebrates.

Sure....I say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year....I send cards, I decorate, I bake cookies, I exchange gifts, I spend time with my family and friends.....it's a fun time of the year.
We're not aliens....we just don't believe in God.

I do and I'm a non-believer. As far as I'm concerned, Christmas is about Santa, presents, pine trees, reindeer, snowmen, family, fire places, stockings, cookies, and giving.
I mean, Christmas started as a celebration of the birth of Jesus. But it's evolved into a holiday about family and giving, with some fun fantasy about Santa Claus thrown in there to make it even cooler.
There are tons of Christmas songs, movies, and TV special that have NOTHING to do with Jesus.

I do, when appropriate. That is to say I do when I know the person celebrates Christmas. Otherwise, I use the correct greeting for their holiday or use the generic Happy Holidays.

I say whatever I feel like, but most often I say Happy Holidays. I will be specific if I know their faith-i.e. Merry christmas to christians, happy yule to pagans, happy hannakah to jewish folks, etc...

I do, as I see Christmas as a secular holiday. I know people say its Jesus' birthday, but in the USA its become more of a massive consumerist celebration.
