Well I was helping my dad with wood and blowing the leaves and i had to wearr headphones for me to be able to here and so i put them on and my ear started to earitate a little so i positioned it right so it owuld feel better and so when i did that i started to blow. when i fiished i too koff the ear headfones and went inside to my room and noticed that the backing was gone i went outside and looked but i couldnt find the backing and i have no other earings! my step mom said to put tape there and so didntmy dad but i told them it might bother my ear and me. But i dont know i dont wanna try it enless it really works! So what do you guys think i should do?

anything that is squisy will work, a small piece of sponge, the eraser from your pencil, a long piece of paper folded onto it several times - as long as it penetrates the earring backing, it'll hold the earring on long enough to get a replacement. It might be a little embarrasing at school tomorrow, but just go to a jewelry store asap and get replacements.

Be inventive. Even a cut up piece of cardboard will work, or a cut up plastic cup will work fine. The stronger the material, the better it will hold.

take the eraser off of the end of a pencil and use it like an earring back

You can buy replacements for the backs of earring in little pouches at Claires.

Michaels has bags of them 100 or more for about5-6 dollars or less. I keep plenty in my jewel case all the time.

use small pieces of eraser as backings until u can get some new ones.

try putting a filter to a cigarrette. haha no, i just saw one and it poped into my head. umm...you could try a piece of foam or something easy for it to go through.
