How can you tell if a person is spoiled?

I had a lot of people tell me I'm spoiled and they don't even know me. Or they say they can tell I'm the last born? WTF? How can they tell?

maybe you should watch the way you talk to people. maybe because you flash around a lot of expensive stuff and brag about them a lot. or maybe you always try to get your way.

i can usually tell too.. they last Born's always got the most attention and they obviously expect it all the time. that's how you know if there spoiled.

and you probably are.. since so many people tell you.

plus right now, it sounds like your demanding an answer.. sounds spoiled to me..

The person who usually has 2 or more of these symptoms:

1) Gets their way all the time
2)Wants to have their way all the time
3) Recieves a lot of material gifts-more than the average person
4) Doesn't seem to appreciate what they have (May not take care of things, or may not say thankyou often, may not care when they recieve a gift or something taht comes from the heart but isn't worth much)
5) Always have new clothes and can't stand to wear the same clothing twice.
6) Picky about things
7) Demanding
8)get more than they give
9) worried about their looks or styles or what is "in" right now whether taht be a clothing piece or a piece of technology.
10) end up with an ego (all about me) complex-at this stage the person doesn't know they have a psychological ID typa problemo-only those around them notice.
11) they feel they don't need to work
12) Bragging behaviour-it's okay to share stories but drop it after a while.

etc etc....


Spoiled kids can be snobs, but there are ppl who just say it as a joke too-and then it means nothing. There are even ppl who say it out of jealous.
I got called spoiled once b.c I got a good gift for xmas.... I also tho-volunteer all the time and constantly give...I knew the person was just acting out of jealously.


Being spoiled means that the parents always give and give and the child never learns to work for themselves to obtain anything-It's a dangerous thing to do to a child.

People usually know someone is the last born, b.c the baby of the family wants attention more so than others and they get hand downs too..
I don't know what reason ppl had for saying it to u-could be just in jest and nothing for you to worry about...

if you feel they were serious and it was insulting to you-May be something you'd want to improve on. Become a lil more independent, give a lil, and be appreciative to everyone. :)

You can be spoiled in many ways. Maybe your family can afford more and shows it off a little too much. Maybe your siblings, if you have any, are either older, male, or work for what they have. There are many reasons you can be considered spoiled.

Ask yourself.

Do you have the latest iPod/iTouch or blackberry that you might be using all the time, with an unlimited texting plan? Do you drive a nicer car than others who might be driving at all? Do you have your own clique? Wearing the latest and expensive fashions?

Either way, the most I can tell you with the lack of specific details is that, you are seen as acquiring something that most other people have to work harder for. Either way, consider that not many people might have it as easy as you do (whatever that might be) and try not to flaunt any of your "spoils" in their face. This way they won't call you spoiled and you'll feel better about yourself knowing that you have something, but don't need to show it off.

Well, the way you talk, if you use "like" in every other sentence or say "What ev" or any of that annoying talk, then you just gave your self away.

Also, you don't have to know some one to tell if they'er spoiled, the way you treat those around you reflects who you are.

Remember, eyes are the window to the sould and if people that know this look in to your eyes and see this, then guess what? They know who you are!

Well, you can usually tell when someone is spoiled when they don't appreciate the small things in life and when nothing seems good enough for them. so what if you're the last born?it doesn't necessarily mean you're spoiled. you are just the baby of the house. who cares what they say?? you know what you are in your heart.that's all that matters,right?:) they are just jealous because they want what you have.

Ask yourself..."do I act like a brat when I don't get what I want or get my way?" or "do I act ungrateful when someone does something for me?" If the answer to the questions is no, then tell them to shut the h*ll up.

well, do you get irritated when someone doesn't give you your way? or do you expect to be given everything you ask for? Some people just might be jealous, u know, but if you hear that a lot, maybe u should reassess your self and your actions

Simple, if the person is against themself but not to the people for something abnomality behavoir and self desires. Like, kissing the floor of the toilet.
