It would make a delicious salad or stir-fry. I like to use it to make salmon cakes. When you cook, there are virtually no boundaries. Don't let etiquette stand in your way. You can use it however you want!

You can use it to make salmon patties as your main dish or use it instead of tuna in lots of different recipes.

if you are talking about that preserved stuff in a bag, to be honest, throw it away. If it lives in the water you either eat it fresh or freeze it but dont for gods sake can it (or in this case bag it which is essentially the same thing.) On the other hand if you want your stirfry or salad to taste like tuna helper go ahead and bung it in but dont expect too much from it.
