FRAGINAL you must be a happy fellow ignoring the fact that even superpowers sometimes are vulnerable to a group of scoundrels, not saying of mini-powers!
Life experience suggests that a more advanced technology is a very important but not a crucial factor in the wars; can you tell something more encouraging?

There have been anti tank weapons almost as long as there have been tanks. In the latter part of WWII the Germans had the Panzerfaust, which could take out any tank at that time, and there was no way to stop it other than to make sure that there was no one to launch it. The same countermeasure works with this missile. Take out the launch platform, or blow up the launcher, and then there is no missile problem. Tanks will always require support to defend against such weapons, such as infantry or air support. Shooting down the missile would be quite difficult. It would be much like trying to shoot a bullet in flight, with another bullet.

As vote_usa has mentioned and gave us the link to c how the missiles r disabled by the laser beam all i can say is in the battlefield the Tanks will have to have laser beam panels whcih wud cover the tank in a circular manner and the signal can be seen on a screen insdie the tank by the fighter and he can thus destroy the missile when he detects one coming in his direction. Now there will have to b an extra man who wud take care of the missile destruction. Also it's similar to the navigation submarine operators have been following for yrs. Maybe sound frequency will also be of much advantage, special sound detectors which wud only pick up the sound frequency thats made by the missile while it traverses the path will have to be detected if thats possible for the scientists to manufacture such a device which cud track only the missiles sound frequency. :D lol I know scientists maybe doing their jobs but just incase i've mentioned something new and useful do acknowledge me :)

The missile is controlled by the laser beam
emitted from the launcher. This in fact does
make the missile pretty much immune to interference.
But this doesn't really matter as the launcher is within
range of sight and this does not leave much time
for any tampering with the missile guidance. It's
a close to medium range weapon. You don't take
those out in mid flight. You make sure the guy
operating it isn't breathing at the time he's supposed
to pull the trigger.

Technology will be able to make missile intercept another missile. Wars will be won depending on the advance technology of a country and it is the reason why the US is a superpower.

Its called "THEL" or "MTHEL", and it has mobile prototypes. Next-gen will be mounted on tanks and have ability to intercept up to 12 incoming missiles at once.

It works allready, it is power source which is the challenge.
