i have been friends with my best friend since 5th grade and now that we are in high school she's starting to act closer to me. My other friends thinks she's gay because she's always all over me and she is constantly with me everywhere. She also texts me and calls me canstantly and if i don't answer right away she gets upset and thinks im mad at her.she stares at me constantly in my class and she sometimes says how cute i am. i don't care if she's gay or not i'll accept her. But other times she's really slutty in front of guys and showing her boobs. i just don't get her. She get's upset when i tell her how i feel when im annoyed about her and she tells me she's going to kill herself and that she needs me and all this stuff. i just don't know if she likes me or just wants to be really close to me in friendship. please help!

Your grade school friend is insecure. She is desperately trying to hang onto you as a friend. What she doesn't realize is with her behavior, she will drive you away. Talk to her. Tell her you like her but it embarasses you when she shows her boobs to the guys. If she continues, you may need to find a new friend. Don't let her bully you by threatening suicide either. Tell her parents if she threatens suicide. They should know and then they can get her help.

I think you really need to tell her how you feel. Shes obviously looking for some sort of attention no matter the circumstance. You need to be the bigger person and confront her about before it escalates to something worse. If shes already mentioned suicide its not to be taken lightly. Let her know you support her but you need to know what the deal is so you both can move on.

Sit her down and talk to her maturely. I don't think she takes you quite seriously... Make her understand that the things that she has been doing are really bothering you and it makes you uncomfortable... Ask her what does she want with you? Friendship or more? If she wants more and if that makes you uneasy tell her. Friends should be able to tell each other anything and everything.

I think this child may be bisexual? Either that or she tries to convince you she's not gay by acting slutty around guys. This is certainly obsessive behavior. And I think I'd tell her to get a counselor if she's threating to commit suicide.

It sounds as though she has some mental health issues, and she seems very needy and desperate, with behavior that is inconsistent - which is what is confusing you. This honestly seems like something that is too big for you to handle; can you talk with her parents about some of your concerns?

well sweetie, she is in high school, so she is lost and trying to find herself.
she can be a lesbian ,but if she hasn't' made a move i doubt it,
its nice of you to be willing to accept her anyway.
she is just insecure about herself, everyone is lost in high school.
just be her friend, tell her how she is acting when you don't like it, and be there for her.
try not to give in when she threatens to kill herself, it will not help.

are you a girl or a boy? your friend has issues. talk with her and be serious. if she isn't serious, then well, it's her problem and not yours.
