I need cookies ideas to that are fun to make with kids besides sugar cookie cut-outs. Something that they can get more involved in besides just pouring the ingredients in. Any recipes would be appreciated!

I was looking for something similar myself and I found this recipe that a friend of mine had actually sent me a while ago; Taralle (Italian Cookies), they are made by rolling out tablespoonfuls of dough into snakelike shapes and forming them into various other shapes. hope this helps you out and that you have fun making them.

Snickerdoodles are always good to do with the kids. The can roll the dough in their palms and then roll it in the cinnamon/sugar. It really lets them feel like they're helping and making the cookies. Just make sure a few of the cookies get baked instead of just eaten raw!
