Many years ago -- it was probably in the 30's or 40's -- that a member of my family wrote a mildly popular song about a horse that "ran the other way" during a race. I'd love to find that song. I have no idea of the title.

I DO know the name of my relative and DID google it in various and sundry ways and got no response.
The song is NOT "Can Do" from Guys and Dolls. The authors were neither my uncles.

Does no one in your family remember. Or how about checking who own the rights to the song - there may be some royalties out there :-)

The author was a member of YOUR family, and ya can't get the name of the song? Ouch, that bites.
Have ya tried putting in the authors name and some of the lyrics in yer browser bar?...then hit search?...Sometimes that helps.
