Powder puffs can cause breakouts because they are used on your face then dipped back into the compact over and over again, leaving a few germs each time. Not only is the powder puff contaminated but the contents of the compact is contaminated, too. You could try using those disposable sponges and throw it away every day. I would throw out the compact and start over. Buy smaller compacts so that it will last no more than 30 days. Also, put the powder puff in a clean knee high stocking and throw it in the washing machine every week. All of your make up brushes should be replaced at least every 3 months.

Don't take antibiotics, you'll just get diarrhea. If you have a topical antibiotic, that would be ok to use but only on the pimples. It's something you would have to go to a dermatologist to get.

The powder puff could have bacteria living on it, which then get on you skin and cause breakouts. Wash the powder puff with antimicrobial soap (along with your face) and let dry. Or you could just run to the store and get a new one.

I don't know what is causing your breakouts, but you can spread them by using the same powder puff. It's a better idea to use cotton balls or some other disposable product that you can use once and throw away every time.

yes because you are using the same applicator everytime. try using sponges from the local beauty supply store, cotton balls, or washing the puff in between and letting it air dry.
