A woman and a baby were in the doctor's examining room, waiting for the doctor to come in for the baby's first exam.
The doctor arrived, examined the baby, checked his weight, and being a little concerned, asked if the baby was breast-fed or bottle-fed.
"Breast-fed" she replied.
"Well, strip down to your waist," the doctor ordered. She did.
He pinched her nipples, then pressed, kneaded, and rubbed both breasts for a while in a detailed examination.
Motioning to her to get dressed, he said, "No wonder this baby is underweight. You don't have any milk."
"I know," she said, "I'm his Grandma, but I'm glad I came."

I was a bottle-fed baby, and my immune system is incredibly strong. I haven't had an infection or pneumonia since I was a child, and I haven't been sick in several years. I did well in school, and excelled in university. My husband is breast fed, has a PhD, but he has allergies and is sick much more often than I am. Breast, or bottle fed makes no difference to your adult life. It's purely for the healthy of the child, and I wouldn't expect people to do it if they don't want to.
