We make all our jam at home from fruit that we grow. Just weigh then boil fruit pulp until it's broken down and has lost about 1/4 of it's volume, then add the same weight of sugar. Boil it some more. In the meantime, sterilise jars in the oven (150C) for a few minutes and soak the lids in boiling water. Pour the jam into the jars and pop the lids on. Bob's your uncle. Some fruits don't gel very well, if your jam doesn't set boil it again with some pectin (Jam setting agent) or just add some apples to the mix.

The best jam that I have ever tasted is Sara Beth's-- plus, its all natural (no high fructose corn syrup!)
