My little puppy is an American Eskimo (they rule!) and she is about 6 months or so and she just ate chocolate! I am so freaked out, I have heard that chocolate is really bad for your dog and I need help! She is about 10 pounds and eats normally. I was working on a science project and it had to be edible. THe chocolate was about a tablespoon. The candy had an chocolate coating and a carmel-type middle with a mini m&m in it (I put it there for my project). IS she gonig to be okay? PLEASE ANSWER ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAD ANY EXPERIENCE! THANK YOU!

She should be fine, not to worry, it takes more than that amount to poison a dog. :)

If it was dark chocolate, it's more likely that there is a problem than if it was milk chocolate.

Call the vet when they open just to be on the safe side.
