Yes! I am here for the exact same reason. I can't speak for other atheists.

Sorry you feel that way. I'm not on here to make fun. Mainly I'm here because there are other people who think close to the way I do. When you're an atheist, you don't always meet a lot of fellow atheists.

Yes, they do, and it's not just on the Internet...we can't say "God" or "Jesus" or even "Merry Christmas" without ridicule. Holiday trees just might beat the stupidity of freedom fries a few years back when we were mad at the French. It's not right. We can have God in pledge of alligance if we want. I have a friend who's an athiest (ironically, we both attend a Catholic School) and she celebrates Christmas-I wish all could be as understanding.

Open to criticism.
We all should be.
Even if the criticism invloves a bit of poking fun.
Humour is the spice of life...is it not?

*agnostic*
Here for debate and amusement...but wouldn't deliberatly put anyone down, unless they really deserved it.

Yes it does. Fortunately, I can use that as a window into the mind of an atheist to see how they think. (muh-hahahahaha!)

yes, they redicule the believers becuase they are too pridefull to come out and ask about who is this God we speak of?? who is this king of Glory! His name is JESUS. and his name is above all other names

JESUS...to that name...every knee will bow every tounge confess that he is Lord, on earth, or when they stand before him as their judge.

HOLY HOLY HOLY IS THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY WHO WAS AND IS AND IS TO COME.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes they do, but they are simply expressing their faith/religion which atheism is. it is the BELIEF that God does not exist, whereas we believe that God DOES exist.
