I do not believe the traditional church teaches a correct concept of what hell really is. I think there is plenty of hell already here on earth. I believe hell is really a purifying process rather than a literally eternal torture chamber. (God never tortured people with fire as punishment and eternal death is not even in God's own law). Man invented that cruelty. After the Great Judgement, when all living and dead will come before God, He will purify wicked and rebellious people for an unspecified time. That purification process will not be pleasant, but like going through fire, like gold or silver being refined. I don't believe it will be a literal furnace of punishment, but will be a time to work on paying off the debt that Jesus could have paid for them, if they had accepted his sacrifice. Since man cannot pay his own debt, man will be set free from that debt at the Great Jubilee, and by that time, those being purified will bow to the King of Kings, redeemer, and Savior!

It's not supposed to "teach"
you anything. The Lord God
doesn't have to do things your
way...He does things His way.
He provided Heaven. If noone wants to go there, He
provided the alternative.
It's not God that makes it
a bad place. It's the all-
depraved and despicable
devil.
Remember, the devil hates
God with an all powerful hatred. Remember, this planet was the devil's until God gave it to Man.
Remember, that the devil
was once the brightest angel
in heaven.
Remember, God made humans, Now guess why the
devil hates humans so bad?
and why he wants to torture
them forever? that's how bad
hatred gets. Hatred is one of
the devil's prime traits. Do you hate anyone?

A big misconception about hell is that it is a place of physical torment and torture. Rather, most Christians have understood these descriptions to capture symbolically that hell is final and utter separation from God's saving grace. Some Christians, like C. S. Lewis, take hell to be a real place where sinful people make themselves miserable. Similarly, thinking of heaven as a place of hedonistic pleasures is wrongheaded as well. In fact, those who choose hell would not enjoy the pleasures of heaven since those pleasures essentially flow from a right relationship with God.

some religions criticize christianity and make no point out of sin or disobedience. we live and die and do our ineffective works without lots regard for everyone or something. Then we ***** of the writer and all the undesirable issues going on. relatively if we would in my opinion make a dedication to wish and draw nigh to God he might draw nigh to us and love us. Jesus is God's answer so he suffered . Christ Jesus suffered and we would decide to be like Him. i'm bored and on my own with no longer lots threat to advance yet here I sit down and think of of Christ Jesus and could be i will get on my knees and pray to Him and this can be the main advantageous vocation in all the international. i'm nerve-racking of murderers yet in Jesus time there replaced into King Herod. The Bible says don't be like Cain. relatively we are smart beings that have huge selections to make to get carry of Jesus. perhaps in case you had lots below you have now you will possibly turn to God our Father. the main important undertaking interior the international is to overcome your self and walk with God.

The "toture" part about hell is that you will be reminded how many times you could have got saved, how many times you have read the word. God's love is everywhere even in hell, the sad part about being in hell is that like I said you are reminded for eternity what you could of had in heaven. Is it how thats what they say, I have no clue.

Its too late for it to teach you anything,
It is a punishment, not ment to teach.
"Why bother?" Because you must believe in the Christ Jesus, the only way to the father is through the Son.

It's supposed to teach us the error of our ways, and keep on teaching us for all of eternity. It's kind of luke the school bully saying give me your lunch money and then punching you in the stomach anyway.

Nothing, which is why it is ridiculous.
Does anyone on earth that have ever existed, even a man like Hitler, really deserve to be tortured for eternity. That is a pretty harsh punishment. We are talking about forever and ever.

That we rejected God's free gift of eternal life- for some- many times. God created us to have a relationship with Him; and obviously He's a jealous God too!

means you should have done better in the first place. It's a scare tactic to make people of the Christian faith behave, otherwise they'll be like the rest of the non-believing sinners... (/sarcasm)
