If the injury is spiritual in part, then a spiritual healer would be appropriate. In a way, chronic pain can be healed temporarily through spiritual focusing. But the physical causes must also be addressed or it is just a redirection of attention. The healer is oneself. All others are guides. Even medicine can only act upon a specific biochemical pathway. If a person is spiritually (psychologically) ill, then even the best medical science may not be enough. The mind-body relationship is not well understood, and spiritual healers may be underestimated these days and marginalized for being counted upon in situations where their services are not appropriate. Spiritual medicine is usually based in prevention, whereas physical medicine is based in containment of illness.

A guy on a train once told me he could heal my sin with his hands. I got off the train two stops early to get away from him. I don't know if he was good-intentioned and insane or trying to feel me up.
Put your faith in medicines, your health is too important to gamble with a "healer". "Healers" were the norm for thousands of years until we discovered things that actually work to cure diseases, why would we want to go back to the older ways that were disregarded for not working?

In Christianity, there is no such person as a "healer". There are many people who have been "called" to the ministry of praying for the sick.
This is a bona fide ministry and I have seen many instances where people who
were prayed for, were instantly healed.
I have prayed for others and
I have prayed for myself.
I have seen others healed
and the Lord has healed me
also.
Main point: It is NOT the
person that does the healing!
It is the "prayer of faith that
shall heal the sick, and the
Lord, shall raise them up.""

Never. I prefer a doctor that went to school in order to learn how to heal injuries.

No, but we had a healing in my home on Monday. About 6 of us meet every Monday, and my friend came with a migraine that she'd had for 3 days. We cried out to Jesus and prayed over her for about an hour, and she left my house with no pain.
It was AWESOME !

When my nephew was 5 he was able to do this, without even realizing that he could. He hugged you or snuggled with you, and suddenly whatever was hurt didn't hurt anymore. It was kinda cool. I don't think he can anymore because the woman who adopted him is all about suppressing natural ability and conforming to what she believes is "normal". She even changed his name so that he wouldn't be so unique.....any way. Not important.
