Hi, the black fabric mesh on my home speaker has become damaged. Where can I buy this fabric to replace? Thanks

What you want is "Speaker grill cloth". A google search with these words (plus your country) will find multiple sources. The link is to one such supplier, although this one only sells a minimum of 5 yards!

As to "colouration" this may be a concern for high end audiophiles ... but the right cloth makes only minor changes to the sound. See the graph at the second link. No, not perfect by audiophile standards, but for most of us grill cloths are an acceptable evil. My Snell Acoustics have grills and my Totem Acoustics don't ... both sound just fine.

Hi .The protective mesh covers in front of loudspeaker drivers, while helping to protect them to some degree, actually "colour the sound." Removing the covers improves the sound from the loudspeakers,no matter how transparent the covers are. If you definitely must have them then you can buy open weave plastic covering or insect screening material at most hardware stores.

I believe PartsExpress (a speaker building site) has the acoustically transparent cloth you are looking for.
