I understand that there are very few of the heavenly class remaining (those left of the 144,000) Why do not the earthly class honor Christ by taking communion?
I would like scriptural reasons that they should abstain, please?

When Christ says to "Keep doing this in rememberence of me." I don't think he is just talking about passing the cup to each other without partaking.

Thank you both, but I am looking for their Scriptural basis for dividing christs flock and telling the majority not to partake in the blessing of connunion.
Cross dressing Jehovah's Wit...are you for real...do you go door to door in a dress?

Lavender: there should be no fear in worship. you are looking for Christ an a place that has no grace. You need to go and examine what you are being taught and compare it with the Gospel of our Lord...I can tell that you are very confused, by the answers that you give...May God Bless you...U.L.

Lavender: I partake....I make sure that My heart is in the right place first, and if I have had diffoculty with one of my brothers, I will wait until I have had resolution ....for instance...If I am having a fight with my husband and it is unresolved, I will wait on the elements until I have cleared that up first...Not a law, but it is how my conscience works.

Lavender... This was offered to all his deciples on the night of his death. They were his leaders and were to continue the tradition through his flock.

I do not do that; unless you can explain why we all should. I don't partake to do it because "I am scared!"
1 Corinthians 11:24,25: "This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me. This cup is the New Covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me."
1 Corinthians 11: 27-32: Therefore, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord. A man ought to examine himself before he eats of the bread and drinks of the cup. For anyone who eats and drinks without recognizing the body of the Lord eats and drinks judgment on himself. That is why many among you are weak and sick, and a number of you have fallen asleep. But if we judged ourselves, we would not come under judgment. When we are judged by the Lord, we are being disciplined so that we will not be condemned with the world.
I am scared to take part in it because I might be falling under something major harsh judgment on myself.
Or do you say I'm missing something?
Verse 24,25, just left out some words to cut my typing short.
EDIT: Do you partake of it without searching your inner most self? What I get from this scriptures is you have to show FULL RESPECT TO THE LORD JESUS CHRIST when taking in bread (flesh) and wine (blood). I gather this is not what a person does just to "do it". I know the Catholics do it all the time and even come out of there church and start sinning within the hour! And I am not talking about trivial sins. That is not in total respect. A person have to be FULLY WORTHY. Think about it. Jesus was saying that to his DISCIPLES, what kind of person do you think they were? Are you like them? (my caps)
EDIT: One last words. I asked my self and was thinking about it. Christ Jesus went many places talking and teaching and wherever he'd go, great crowds will gather around him. Great crowds will follow him. At one time Jesus had 4 thousand people all gathered around him. He had loaves and fishes and water or wine to drink. How come he didn't tell the four thousand people that gathered to listen to him, "Take, eat this is my body, which is broken for you; this do in remembrance of me. This cup is the New Testament in my blood; do this ye, as oft as you drink, in remembrance of me." If Jesus so desired that everyone should do it, "why didn't Jesus tell that to the whole public wherever the crowd was drawn around him?" Why did Jesus only do that in the privacy of his twelve disciples?

they believe that only the 144,000 are supposed to take communion.
They also believe that the vast majority of those have already been picked and are dead. Therefor very few alive today should be of this class. This class are the ones that are anointed with the Holy spirit in a special way. The rest are not and are considered "Other Sheep". This is one of those things that makes me wonder how they square the statement made by Christ that were ever two or more are gathered he will be there with them through the Holy Spirit. And yet the vast a majority of them say they have not been given the Holy Spirit.

Good question Lamb.
The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ? For we, THOUGH MANY are one bread and one body; for we ALL partake of that one bread. 1 Cor. 10:16-17
I don't see how the terms "many" and "all" are equal 144,000. There is no reason to have a two class system when Jesus died for the sins of the world. Anyone who repents and believes is entitled to communion.
No Scriptural reason they should abstain....
Question...Since it's a false organization, does it really matter?
For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.”
For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes.
Therefore WHOEVER eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an UNWORTHY MANNER WILL BE GUILTY of the body and blood of the Lord. But let a man EXAMINE HIMSELF, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup. For he who eats and DRINKS IN AN UNWORTHY MANNER eats and DRINKS JUDGMENT UNTO HIMSELF, not discerning the Lord’s body. For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep. For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged. But when we are judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.
Therefore, my brethren, when you come together to eat, wait for one another. But if anyone is hungry, let him eat at home, lest you come together for judgment. And the rest I will set in order when I come. 1 Cor. 11:23-34

Keep in mind that the old covenant was with only one nation, old Israel. Likewise, the new covenant is with one nation, new Israel. The individual members of new Israel are the sons of God who are in the new covenant. The rest of mankind is not.
Therefore, only those who have been adopted as sons of God are entitled and required to drink the cup of the new covenant.
While not direct participants, the survivors of the great tribulation will be beneficiaries of the new covenant that God has made with the seed of Abraham. As the original covenant with Abraham stated, all the nations will inherit a blessing through the seed of Abraham.
In the 8th chapter of Romans Paul referred to the nations that are to receive a blessing by means of the new Israel as “all creation,” which he said is awaiting the revealing of the sons of God.
Obviously, “all creation” and the soon to be revealed "sons of God" are two separate groups.

Jesus asks all of us to do it in remembrance of Him.
