You did not say in what way it is a "big deal" for you. Obviously you know your parents make love, I am assuming you just don't want to hear it. You may wish to approach your mother, and suggest they close the door to their room or take other noise limiting steps.

I am quite sure they did not mean to disturb you.

I was in the same situation once...it really weirded me out too!! I freaked out, but then I realized a few things...

1. It's good news that they still love each other so much!
2. One day you'll hopefully find someone you love so much and will be that happy with, so it's just a part of life. The only thing you can do is accept that they do do that (even though it is weird to think of your parents in that way, I know!). If you want to talk to them you can, but I let it irk me for a few days, and I just forgot about it and moved on.
3. You can definitely block it out with your ipod or walkman.

Well, since it really seems to be bothering you I think you should talk to your mom. It may be hard for you to do but just when you are with her alone say mom I'm glad that you and dad love each other and all but when ever it was that you heard them tell her that you heard them and it really made you feel uncomfortable. I think your parents will choose a better time to be together when you are not around or at least on a weekend morning when you are sleeping in or in your room.

If your uncomfertable with this sitch while you cant really tell them to not. And it would be very ocwurd for you to bring this up at the dinner table you know what i mean? If you dont want to hear it get ear plugs or stuff your head in the pillow. I'm really sorry you had to hear what happen with your parents cuz i can understand how groos and wrong it can seem to you. I've never had this proplem tho cuz my parents got a deviorce but trust me if i heard that id be quiet for a few days and not feel that comfertable talking to them. JUst try to for get about and if it happens again i think you should maybe bring it up and tell them how it grosses you out and how you really want it to stop. If they understand they should resepct for you saying something and hopefully it will stop. Good luck with it!

OMG, I can COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND how you feel!! It's totally disgusting to know your parents are Doing It, but if it reassures you, ALL ADULTS do it, including your friends parents, your teachers, world leaders etc etc. It's a completely normal part of life, and you're not the only one who's ever been in this uncomfortable position. Many people I know have been worried and disgusted by this too, just tell yourself it happens to all of us to know such a thing, and if you think about it, it's not that a big a deal since all adults Do It, including celebrities and so on. Just try to forget it, remember it happens to every one of us at least once in a lifetime to hear/see something like this and next time, to be careful!! Once is OK, but the second time, you'll need therapy lol. Make sure you don't ever hear/see it again and in time, you'll forget. And dont worry, I'm a teen, and this sort of thing has happened to me to unfortunately. Just let it go.

It isn't something any kid likes to think about yet alone hear. Turn up the volume on your TV or CD player to drown out the noise....they will get the hint they are being a little loud. They are married and it is part of life.

Just buy yourself a cheap pair of ear muffs to block out the noise. Or confront your parents directly in a civilized manner and explain the issues you have regarding this matter.

If you don't have one already, get an iPod or Mp3 player, a good set of headphones/earbuds (I suggest Bose) and keep them nearby in case you run into this situation again.

Also, know that love making is normal, and even though it's gross to picture/hear your parents "doing it" at least you know they have a good relationship.

Well, as gross as that is for you to hear, at least you know they love each other and obviously have a healthy sex life.
Unless you feel like you need to talk to them about it, I don't really know what you can "do". It's a natural and healthy part of a marriage.
But I do feel sorry for you. That must be awkward. :-/

I'd say let them have their privacy and don't do anything about it... at least they're doing what couples should do, rather than arguing. It's totally normal.

And hey, if it gets to be an annoying thing, you might want to let them know, say, over the breakfast table, that they perhaps should turn the volume down sometimes. :)
